Bad Haiku
Horrible poetry for the digital age
28 Years, 57 Days and 77449 Haiku later...

Earth plays yet smoke works.
A lemon fears poetry.
The vampires loiter.

Walking hatred falls.
The knights catch slickly fair snow.
Stars break for clouds sing.

Jungles clash lemons.
Quietly, papers carouse.
Asses hate judges.

The lakes clash the mouths.
Hands retire and short girls wake.
Cold clashes landscapes.

The pianos walk.
Truth strokes heat then the fish work.
Fragrant, short smoke sings.

Water engulfs me
Soft encompassing wetness
Sound vanished calm

Water bears away
Thoughts turn to life absolute
Refreshing feelings

Rise up and stand tall
With eyes seeing creation
Resolve not to lose

Determined go
Forward with woes departed
Life

If Santa was black
He would have a black bag too.

To carry his stuff in...
and also have black shoes.

His reindeer would be brothas,
With gold teeth
and they would slap around they
ho's when they needed it.

I am from where the red dirt meets the green jungle
The mangoes are plucked ripe off the trees
The juice runs clear down my chin
I am from the dark secrets carried in the bowels of slave ships
The rhythm of the Atlantic pushes us towards our destiny
I am from backs burnt from chopping cane
Ebony skin shines reflecting my beauty
I am from the place where palm trees whisper their stories
Nestled between their embraces my ears strain for their wisdom
Now, I am from the brownstones and basketball courts
Where baggy jeans and Timberlands are the standard uniform
I am from where bodegas are on every corner
Coronas are sipped, straw hats are worn, and dominoes are slammed
I am from a little seed that grew into an entire legacy

Have some respect for the Vietnam Vet for
they are our fathers and friends
They didn't want to go, they didn't even
know the meaning of life or death.
I am the son of an M-16 gun of agent orange and napalm gel
The children whine.......will my daddy come
home, will we ever see him again.....?
Or will we hear from his friend how he came to
a tragic end.....
NO, never again, don't let this happen ever
again...
