Jewel lays no claim

Jewel it is, I
yielding is yours, crocodile
I shine, you drool, dog

wars and divisions
proponents of man against humanity here

the roots pushed deep and long ago
where men were once creatures of wisdom

now they lay wated
in mock intellect
