Bad Haiku
Horrible poetry for the digital age
28 Years, 13 Days and 77384 Haiku later...

I gave my heart and
soul to abuse in defense
against abuse inviting

abuse from the abused
and praying just praying
for their own judas time

when they look within and
choose, either the cross
or the eternal damnation

of the peace false
of the noose
and so judas kissed me

and hangs broken
for 30 pieces of silver

where is the rebellion
when gen x wonders y
and to z to AA do we

go off the zz top
and wait for the alpha
to hurry the fuck up

and revelate oi once
and for all to omega
namaste, it is finished

amen

a river runs thru
january weather patterns
cutting life and swath

winter kills the man
as the roads turn slick with salt
cast over my shoulder

what is it good for?
the old joke of the blonde say
you lost a load off

your truck, god damn it
madame, this is maine, it's winter
this is a plow truck

why is sex so shocking
when it is the most boring
cement keeping fam damilies

rolling in the red man
and the tickets to jeff foxworthy night jokes

and bill engvall wet dreams
of men and women
worthy to wear his signs

the excitement is dead
lets get married and
raise a family

have a barbeque
and dream of coffee shop
romances with a smile

on the past

paranoid the past
remixed in dreams of the future
borderline enemies

we build homes to
god from ruins of this world
to gethsemanie and golgotha

to the end time in megiddo
no vogons to hitchhike on
to the ends of this earth

swimming in poison
tobacco mouths brown spew on
snowfile fetish of green

days not yet arrived
go to hell tourists or saco
echo with laughs

water slides and gnats
blood flows from open wounds
summer arrives fun begins

misquitoe state bird
one of them government bugs
floating by space in grey

death and crime in dead

harlem, tenants do
hope for some escape of old
prejudices codes

the skin is brown the
soul cracked by 1980s
coventional keys

why ganstas live dead
family still plays where they
but know white on black

show me your bare arse
left it with yogi and boo
labrynth she was in

so jaded plays chess
on the bored with a lost note
quietly mixed up

thanks to you dear friend
riddles yours and enigmas
the raw deal for you

makes her expense fun
her confusion a million
and her trust swallowed

so laugh at trust true
hardened you'de think she'd give up
any case..still tries

hands close together
heart pounds outside the brain wash
love endures all things

dancing alone is
what I do best, always have
dancing securely

to trust a partner
sadly seems like a doomed dream
but maybe there's hope

so let the metal rip
although a slow jazz is nice
got to get it out

cause this world and me
surely seems not to mix well
how do I stay nice?
